I am using NeoGamma R9 b47, IOS249 (Rev 21007). I have also backed up my copy of Resident Evil 2 and neogamma seems to load it and launch it but all I get is a blank screen once it has 'launched' it. I hit Boot DVD it looks as if it trys to load something and goes back to the same menu with Boot DVD and Credits. Then THIS appears followed by THIS which doesnt do anything. It also works for my backed up copy of Paper Mario, launches and plays the game.įor my multi disc game, Super Mario Sunshine, Yu-Gi-Oh Falsebound Kingdom and Zelda Collectors Edition (All NTSC) I select Launch Game on DVD, it says Init Drive.
For RE0 I just click Launch Game on DVD and it allows me to select Disc 1 or 2. It worked for me before using the same type of dvd and burning RE0 Disc 1 + Disc 2. Hey guys, I followed this guide word for word to back up multiple gamecube discs on one dvd. Sooo.well have changed IOS over and over again, restored from the bootmii, etc so basically I'm open to ANY ideas ANYONE offers.thanks :) If this is of any help, when most games crash the audio goes off for a while and then the screen freezes some of them (Rayman Origins and Red Steel 2 are the ones I can remember now) get a black screen that says "Reading Disc". at which point I have to turn the console off directly since controllers stop working. any ideas? I THINK it's not an IOS issue since I've played games such as Skyward Sword for hours without issue until it crashes. However, if I play a disc or a WAD game I have no issues. Everytime I play a game from my USB loader (either USB loader GX or CFG) my Wii gets stuck after a random amount of playtime that goes from 15 minutes to up to 7 hours, regardless of which loader I use. I have a softmodded wii with the lates bootmii and homebrew channel as well as updated IOS (both 249 and 222). I've tried everything now and I'm still unable to fix this issue. For both of these issues, I have to turn off the Wii by holding the power button for a couple seconds, and my HD's light will constantly flash.Īny help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. As for Mario Kart, I can select a character and a stage but while it loads it will freeze on a black screen. I've tried searching and searching for a fix with no avail. I will play single player, choose a character, and play for about 6 stages, where it will freeze while trying to load the next fight. The other two are a different story.įor Smash Bros., everything loads fine and runs smoothly. So far, the only game that works successfully with no issues is Wario Ware. I used WBFS Manager to install my downloaded game ISO's to my HD. I followed the guide to the bone, and after installed USB Loader GX 3.0 along with partitioning and reformatting my Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 500GB HD to the WBFS and FAT32 formats. This tutorial utilizes Dop-Mii, IOS236 Installer v5, Priiloader, and cIOS38_rev17-Installer, all of which are still on my SD card. Instead, I used LetterBomb as I don't own Super Smash Bros. I have recently soft modded my 4.3u Wii using this guide on youtube Removed Out Side Link, except I didn't use Smashstack to get the homebrew channel.
